Samsung French Door Fridge Freezer Icing Up

The fridge temperature keeps going up to 19 stays like that for 2 maybe 3 hours then eventually goes.

Try and avoid leaving the freezer door open or opening it unneccesarily. If your home is humid simply opening the freezer door can cause ice to build up. You do not need to empty your freezer. I have a samsung french door bottom freezer that frost up with chunks of ice. To check the flap open the left side door and look at the black flap inside the ice chute. It looks like ice is getting stuck while it tries to fall into the bucket below but there is always a big chunck of ice up top just stuck there.

If the flap on the ice dispenser is not closing properly it allows warm air to enter the freezer compartment and causes frost build up in the freezer. The ice maker on the fridge keeps freezing.
